To be honest math is my favorite class. We don't just do math we also do other things that are fun and involve math. Once we did a project about the Statue of Liberty. The teacher tries to make the class interesting and fun so people aren't bored all the time.
This is a picture of what we had to do in math class with a thing called Geogebra. I chose this picture because we will have to use this a lot. This taught me how we have to use technology in different ways in different subjects.
In math class we discussed the unit of Rational Numbers. This taught me about the different ways to solve the problems like using multiplication and fractions to solve it. This was important to use because we had to learn how to correctly do the problems so we don't get the work wrong. For me this was the easier one of the units and it was very informational.
We did this project in pre-algebra for the third quarter. This required us to learn how to be able to figure out the radius and the diameter just by a piece of pizza. We then had to find out which coupon worked better and which one would not work very well for the problem. Then after we had finished with the first part we then had to do a second problem that was completely different from the first problem. All in all it was still really fun to do.
This is a representation on what we had to do in pre-algebra the 4th quarter. First the teacher had us create a symmetrical object that could create a pattern. Then we would have to draw the rows in order and when we were done we would have to color it.
